President Kagame today received the United States Attorney General, Loretta Lynch. The meeting discussed bilateral judicial cooperation, including increased cooperation in bringing fugitives accused of the Genocide against the Tutsi to justice.
Attorney General Loretta Lynch is in Rwanda for the 84th Interpol General Assembly.
Delivering a Keynote speech at the Interpol international gathering of some 640 police chiefs and senior law enforcement officials, Attorney General Lynch said Interpol ‘stands as an invaluable conduit for mutual assistance between law enforcement agencies across the world and a critical facilitator for international cooperation in matters of security, opportunity and human rights’.
