President Kagame today received at his offices in Urugwiro Village, Heads of Delegations and Organizations to the 6th Africa Prosecutors’ Association (APA) and Annual General Meeting which is taking place in Kigali.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, Olivia Imalwa, President of the Africa Prosecutors’ Association and Prosecutor General of Namibia said: “Our discussions with the President were fruitful. We were here to introduce our association as well as take the opportunity to seek his support and assistance from him as an African Head of State to enable us realize our dreams. The President offered us the opportunity to ask questions as well as comment and we are very happy. The response from the President is quite positive and we are confident that he will take it up with other Heads of State in Africa.”
Rwanda’s Prosecutor General, Martin Ngoga said: “We were requested by the association to organize this meeting and it’s a real great honor to do so as members. This is also an opportunity to discuss with the delegates about issues concerning fugitives living in their respective countries.”
