President Kagame today officiated the swearing-in of four Deputies – one Senator and three members of the lower chamber at Parliament buildings. Those who took oath of service today include Sen. Teddy Gacinya, Hon. Marie-Josee Kankera, Hon. Zeno Mutimura and Hon. Amiel Ngabo Semahundo.
In his address, President Kagame said that Rwanda is constantly on the move towards progress and calls for the contribution of every stakeholder: “There may be challenges along the way but we should understand that this is a normal way of life. We should not be distracted but continue on our way as we strive to take our country forward.” To the newly sworn-in deputies, President Kagame promised government support as they embarked on their new assignments of nation building.
