President Kagame on My 29 attended the swearing-in of President Goodluck Jonathan as the 14th President of Nigeria at the Eagle Square in Abuja, the Nigerian capital. He was among several heads of state invited to attend the ceremony.

President Kagame arrived at Abuja International Airport at around 10 a.m., where he was received and driven to Eagle Square for a colorful inauguration ceremony.

After being officially sworn-in, President Goodluck promised to prioritize rebuilding the Nigerian economy, job creation, promotion of education and health, as well as improving the social welfare of the Nigerian people.

President Goodluck Jonathan was among the 13 heads of state who attended the Swearing-in ceremony of President Paul Kagame at Amahoro National Stadium in Kigali in September last year.
